The "One Month In" Pivot: A Note from the Founder
Listen, we’ve been live for about thirty seconds in "business years," and I’ve already torn the wallpaper off the walls and reconfigured the floor plan. If you’re wondering why the Artist Artillery site looks different than it did last Tuesday, it’s because I’m a human being who values my sanity and your results. Here are the three big "Whys" behind the mess.
I’m officially retiring from the video editing salt mines. Look, I’m good at it, but here is the raw truth: high-end video editing eats your life. It is a black hole of render bars and "can we move that frame two inches to the left?" I realized that if I spent all my time in a dark room editing reels, I couldn't actually do anything else. So, I’ve swapped the video timeline for something way more powerful for my fellow realtors: Virtual Staging and Virtual Renovation. Instead of spending forty hours on one video, I’m using that time to turn your cold, empty listings into high-end, photorealistic masterpieces. It’s faster, it’s higher impact, and frankly, it’s better for everybody.
Let’s address the robot in the room. I use AI. It’s my primary tool, and I’m going to be overly transparent about that because your trust matters more to me than a "secret sauce." I’ve spent the last several years as an AI Architect, and while the AI provides the raw horsepower, I refine every single pixel by hand. I’m here to make you hate AI less, because let’s be real: it’s taking over whether we like it or not. Your competitors are already using it, but they don't have a human behind the wheel, so their content looks like a fever dream. Mine doesn't. I use my human eye, my design pedigree, and my technical "insider" knowledge to make sure the AI actually does… Well, exactly what I want it to. It’s the "Precision & Pride" part of the brand. The AI provides the speed, I provide the soul.
Finally, we’re going global because Missouri is great, but the world is bigger. I’m a remote-first founder, and while I only speak English (my high school Spanish is a little rusty), there really aren't any limits on how far I can reach. I can build a Full Brand Kit or perform Virtual Staging for a client in London just as easily as I can for someone in Overland Park. Because of that, I had to take a sledgehammer to my own SEO and basically restructure the entire website to reflect these changes. It’s a process. It’s messy. It’s digital open-heart surgery. If a link looks weird or a description seems brand new, it’s because I’m teaching the global search engines that Artist Artillery is officially open for business everywhere.
