General Questions
What is Artist Artillery? Artist Artillery is a remote media design company that bridges the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and authentic human creativity. We provide high-end visual solutions for brands that want to stand out without the rigid, "corporate" feel of traditional agencies.
How does the "AI-designed by a human" process work? We use advanced AI tools to handle the heavy lifting of generation and technical scaling, while our human designers provide the narrative precision, emotional depth, and brand consistency that AI cannot achieve alone. This allows for faster turnaround times and more sophisticated custom visuals.
Do you only work with clients in Kansas City? While we have roots in Missouri, Artist Artillery is a fully remote company. We partner with businesses and entrepreneurs worldwide to build their digital ecosystems.
What’s with all the war jargon and why the tank logo? When I (Dani) started the idea for Artist Artillery, my father was alive and eager to help me come up with names and design ideas… And guess what the Veteran wanted? Tanks and war jargon. As a peace loving hippy, I try not to overload the brand with it, however it does make me smile knowing I can both “arm” my clients with tools for their success and honor my dad’s love for artillery at the same time.
Branding & Graphic Design FAQs
What is included in a Full Brand Kit? A standard brand kit includes your primary logo, secondary logo marks, a curated color palette, typography selections, and a brand style guide. This ensures your brand looks consistent across every platform, from your website to your business cards.
Can you refresh my existing logo? Yes. If you have a logo you love but it feels outdated or lacks high-resolution files, we can modernize the design and provide you with a full suite of professional file formats (SVG, PNG, JPG) for any use.
How many revisions do I get? We believe in a collaborative process. Most packages include a specific number of revision rounds to ensure the final product is perfect. Our "White-Glove" monthly subscribers enjoy unlimited revisions on all active projects.
What do I need to give you to make me a “Full Brand Identity”?
To build a cohesive and professional brand identity, I’ll need to dive into the "why" and "who" behind your business. This ensures the visual elements we create, like your logo and color palette, actually resonate with your target audience and stand out in your industry.
Here is what I’ll need from you to get started:
1. The Core Vision
Your Mission: A clear description of what your business does and the primary problem you solve for your clients.
Brand Values: Three to five words that describe your brand’s personality (e.g., "bold," "trustworthy," "innovative," or "minimalist").
2. Audience & Market Insights
Target Audience: A breakdown of who your ideal customer is, what they care about and what they are looking for in a service provider.
Competitor Awareness: A list of your top 2–3 competitors so we can ensure your identity feels unique and doesn't get lost in the crowd.
3. Design Preferences
Style Inspiration: Any examples of logos, websites, or color schemes you love (or even ones you hate) to help us find the right visual direction.
Specific Must-Haves: If you have an existing color you want to keep or a specific symbol that needs to be incorporated into the design.
4. Logistics & Assets
Business Name & Tagline: The exact spelling and capitalization you want used for your official branding.
Deliverable Needs: Aside from the core logo and style guide, let me know if you have immediate needs for things like business cards, social media templates, or signage.
Can you design just one specific item for me?
Absolutely. Whether you need a single brochure, a flyer, or a set of social media graphics, we offer standalone pricing for individual marketing pieces.
Why is there such a range in Logo Design pricing?
A $300 logo is typically a straightforward, high-quality mark. A $1,500 project involves deeper market research, multiple concepts, and more extensive revision cycles to ensure the final result is a perfect strategic fit for your industry.
Professional Photo Editing FAQs
Do you handle photo editing? Absolutely. We provide professional photo retouching, background removal, and color correction to ensure your marketing photography looks elite and scroll-stopping.
Do you offer basic "clean-up" for real estate or product shots? Yes! Our Basic Enhancement covers the essentials like brightening, color correction, and sharpness to make your images pop for just a few dollars per photo. You can check out the prices for those on our “Services” page.
Can you remove unwanted items or change the lighting in a photo? Definitely. Our Advanced Edits include things like item removal, virtual cleaning, and even "day-to-dusk" conversions to give your photos a premium, high-end feel.
What is Virtual Staging? Virtual staging involves adding photorealistic digital furniture and decor to photos of empty or sparsely furnished rooms. It helps potential buyers visualize the scale and possibility of a space without the high cost of physical furniture rental.
Can you remove items or "declutter" a photo? Yes. Through our Virtual Renovation service, we can digitally remove existing furniture, change flooring, or even "paint" walls to present a property in its best possible light.
What is the turnaround time for staged images? Standard turnaround is typically 24 to 72 hours. Priority 24-hour turnaround is available for our subscription partners and high-priority listings.
Website Design FAQs
What do I get at the $1,000–$2,500 "Basic" level?
This is all about speed and clarity. You get a professional, mobile-responsive site built on a solid foundation. It includes your essential pages (Home, About, Services, Contact) and is perfect for building immediate trust with new clients.
What moves a project into the $2,500–$4,500 "Standard" bracket?
This is where we move from "looking professional" to active lead generation. At this level, we include custom layouts, basic SEO setup to help you get found, and integrations with tools like your email marketing platform or booking software.
What justifies a $5,000+ "Premium" investment?
This is for businesses that need specialized utility. This covers complex needs like e-commerce, membership portals, or custom API integrations. It also includes deep-dive strategy, like competitor audits and professional copywriting designed to dominate your niche.
How long does the process take for each tier?
The timeline scales with the complexity of the build:
Basic ($1k–$2.5k): Usually 2–3 weeks. These move quickly because we focus on the essentials.
Standard ($2.5k–$4.5k): Typically 4–6 weeks. This allows for more custom design rounds and technical integrations.
Powerhouse ($5k+): Generally 8+ weeks. These require extensive testing, strategy sessions, and custom development to ensure everything works perfectly.
How do I know which tier I actually need? We don't believe in "upselling" features you won't use. During our initial discovery, we look at your current goals. If a $1,500 site solves your problem, that’s what we’ll build. If your business model requires automation to save you ten hours of admin work a week, we’ll show you how a larger investment pays for itself.
Are there hidden costs after the site launches?
We keep it transparent. Aside from your standard hosting and domain fees, any ongoing maintenance or specialized software subscriptions (like advanced booking tools) will be discussed upfront so there are never any surprises.
Subscription & Workflow FAQS
How do your monthly subscriptions work? Our monthly packages are designed for businesses with ongoing design needs. Instead of paying per project, you pay a flat monthly fee for a set number of requests or unlimited design support, depending on your tier. This makes your marketing budget predictable and your workflow seamless.
How do we communicate during a project? We prioritize transparency and open collaboration. We typically use email for project milestones, but "White-Glove" partners often have access to a dedicated Slack channel for real-time updates and urgent requests.
How do I get started? The best way to begin is by booking a free consultation. We’ll discuss your goals, review your current assets, and determine which package or custom solution fits your brand best.
